Ryan DeZwarte, Financial Consultant

​​Ryan DeZwarte has gained more than 11 years of experience helping clients pursue their financial goals after graduating in 2009 from Drake University, where he majored in accounting and finance. 

He has an extensive background in retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, investment management, and working with business owners and high net worth individuals. Ryan has a passion for building client relationships and helping clients work toward financial independence and confidence. 

In addition, Ryan is one of Dave Ramsey’s SmartVestor Pros in Iowa.* Ryan began his Dave Ramsey journey in 2007 when he started listening to Dave's radio program and watching his show on Fox Business. He read “The Total Money Makeover” shortly after. Ryan and his wife completed Dave's Financial Peace class online and have followed his principles regarding budgeting, investing, and debt ever since. Ryan's success with the program led him to want to help others pursue financial confidence through investing for the future using Dave’s time-tested principles.

Ryan lives in Newton with his wife, Mallory, their six-year-old son Maxwell, their four-year-old daughter Addison, and their infant son Isaiah. They enjoy going on bicycle rides, working in the garden, watching baseball and college football, and spending time outdoors on the family farm. Ryan prioritizes community involvement and attends Community Heights Alliance Church locally.​
